Friendy Child Safety Policy
At Friendy, operated by ADB Infotainment, we are committed to creating a safe and respectful environment for all users. We take the safety of children seriously and strictly prohibit any form of child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) on our platform. This policy outlines our standards and measures to combat CSAE and ensure compliance with applicable laws and Google Play’s Child Safety Standards.
1. Prohibition of Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE)
Friendy explicitly prohibits any content, behavior, or activity that involves the sexual exploitation, abuse, or endangerment of children. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Grooming or soliciting minors for sexual purposes.
- Sextortion or trafficking of children for sexual exploitation.
- Distribution or possession of child sexual abuse material (CSAM), defined as any visual depiction (e.g., photos, videos, or computer-generated imagery) of a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct.
- Any predatory behavior targeting minors.
All users must be at least 18 years old, and the app is not intended for individuals under this age. We actively work to prevent minors from accessing or using the platform through age verification during registration.
2. In-App Reporting Mechanism
We provide an in-app mechanism for users to report concerns or violations, including potential CSAE-related issues. Users can:
- Access the “Report a Concern” feature within the app, available under the profile or settings menu.
- Submit reports directly through the app without leaving the platform, including details about the issue (e.g., user profile, content, or behavior).
- Contact our support team via an in-app chat or email option for urgent matters.
All reports are reviewed promptly by our moderation team, and appropriate action is taken in accordance with this policy and relevant laws.
3. Action Against Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM)
Upon obtaining actual knowledge of CSAM on the Friendy platform, we take immediate action, including but not limited to:
- Removing the offending content or suspending the associated account.
- Investigating the incident and cooperating with law enforcement if required.
- Reporting confirmed CSAM to the relevant regional authority, such as the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) in the United States or the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) in India, depending on the jurisdiction.
Our moderation team, supported by AI tools, continuously monitors profiles, photos, and user-generated content to detect and address potential CSAE or CSAM violations.
4. Compliance with Child Safety Laws
Friendy complies with all applicable child safety laws and regulations, including but not limited to:
- The Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO) in India.
- The Information Technology Act, 2000, and its amendments in India.
- International standards and guidelines, such as those recommended by Tech Coalition for combating online CSAE.
We maintain a process to report confirmed CSAM to the appropriate authorities and ensure our policies align with legal obligations.
